Become a program committee member for the 11th annual Metering, Billing/MDM America Conference and Exhibition.  In 2010, the conference will return to San Diego, CA and will be held from March 7 – 11.

Metering, Billing/MDM America 2010 conference sessions will be tailored for utility professionals from electric, gas and water utilities who are focused on developments in advanced metering, the smart grid, revenue management and customer service initiatives.  Along with the outstanding speakers for the general sessions, participants have a choice of attending concurrent educational tracks and dynamic presentations by industry experts. The concurrent tracks focus on timely issues covering smart metering for electric and gas utilities, advanced metering for water utilities, the smart grid, demand side management, billing systems, meter data management, regulatory compliance issues, and other promising trends.

As an industry professional that is in touch with current industry trends and developments, we invite you to participate on the 2010 Program Committee.  

Participation includes suggesting speakers and reviewing abstract submissions. As we screen all submissions this wouldn’t take a significant amount of time, however we are looking for active participation with the following:

  • Chairing / moderating sessions and or present papers
  • Participating in approximately 2-3 telephone conference calls
  • Input on / reviewing of marketing materials that will be sent out
  • Participating in two committee meetings in 2009:
    • Abstract review / program development meeting: August 30, San Diego, CA (part of Smart Energy West Coast Conference)
    • Program finalization meeting: Time and date to be determined
