Due to the increased global interest in the Chinese metering market, Metering International and Metering International China are scheduling a series of tours in China during 2007 entitled ‘Global Metering Partnerships and Opportunities’.
The three sets of tours, which will take place in June, September and October, have been designed to focus on specific areas, and the unique opportunities that these offer, within the Chinese metering industry.
The aim of the tours is to provide the opportunity to conduct technical site visits and participate in utility and consultant briefings and round-table meetings, thereby enabling the establishment of high level contacts with Chinese technical authorities, state electricity supervisory bodies and local power utilities.
The first in the series kicks off with two tours to choose from and will be co-located with the Metering China 2007 conference:
• Metering Solutions, Components and Parts Sourcing Tour
• China Smart Metering Technical Study Tour
The Metering Solutions, Parts and Components tour will include visits to some of the largest meter manufacturers in China, as well as exclusive opportunities to conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers. It will provide a platform to gain access to this emerging market through an understanding of the opportunities and pitfalls, whilst building valuable relationships.
The tours focus on China's most influential markets – Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai and Hangzhou – and will run from 4 - 8 June 2007. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
