In the US, water distribution company Union County Public Works (UCPW) in Monroe, North Carolina, has issued a tender for the supply of Work and Maintenance Management Systems Software (WMMS) to assist in the utility's planning, asset management, and administrative functions.

The WMMS is intended to be used for both water distribution and waste water collection systems and will serve as an operational and management tool for managing work orders and their transactional workflows, including material management, backlog management, and preventive maintenance management.

Deadline for tender submissions is 15 December, 2015.
