Domosys Corporation has released its PowerBus Technology version 3.0 for master/slave topology. The PowerBus software tools are also updated with this version, which was developed in response to customer requirements for increased system reliability.

The PowerBus master/slave topology is mainly used in applications where there are large numbers of slaves per master, and no need for slaves to communicate with each other – for example, AMR, which requires support for multiple meters (slaves) per gateway (master). One of the main enhancements found in PowerBus v3.0 is the increase in the number of slaves (up to 1,021) supported per master node. In addition the master/slave routing mechanism is faster, to allow it to better serve larger networks.
