Antwerp, Belgium --- (METERING.COM) --- September 15, 2011 - Ferranti and Microsoft have announced a global collaboration for the company’s business support system MECOMS™, which is aimed to helping energy and utility companies cope with the changing market conditions.

MECOMS™ is based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and extends the standard ERP-functionalities with specific utility functionality and best practices.

During the past years, Microsoft and Ferranti have worked together to align product development and certification. Ferranti is now officially Microsoft’s priority global alliance partner in the utilities space.
