Barbados Light & Power Co. Ltd has chosen the SPL Customer Care & Billing (SPL CC&B) solution to serve its 100,000 residential and commercial customers, and has also added SPL’s Case Management, Enterprise Business Intelligence and Archiving modules.

The utility took the decision not to upgrade its existing CIS system, which had been built in-house over 15 years ago. They knew, however, that functionality and configurability were key essentials, and also said that the opportunities for integration built into the SPL platform mean that it will be easy for BL&P to add SPL’s outage management system in future.
