The US department of Energy (DoE) has awarded technology consulting firm Attain a contract to  support the operations of the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL).

NETL is an arm of the DoE’s Office of Fossil Energy. The lab conducts research and development of technologies to ensure consumers are provided with clean, safe, affordable and reliable energy.

The $35 million deal includes Attain providing services such as the operation of infrastructure, programme management, cybersecurity and enterprise application management.

The deal is expected to help the DoE to achieve its mission to promote the national, economic, and energy security of the US.
