The award, now in its 21st year, recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Past winners include John Mackey of Whole Foods Market, Pierre Omidyar of eBay, Inc., and Michael Dell of Dell Computer Corp.
Ernst & Young’s New England Entrepreneur of the Year award follows a string of prestigious awards EnerNOC has won recently, including World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer 2007 and Platts’ Energy Pioneer. These awards recognize EnerNOC’s achievements and contributions to the technology and energy industries to date.
