Ellivio

In Sweden, Ellevio has chosen Powel as the supplier of their new network information system (NIS) and maintenance system.

The contract between Powel and Ellevio is the largest within the NIS-area in the Swedish market for the last decade.

Ellevio, one of the largest grid companies in the Nordics, has chosen the Powel Asset Performance Suite after an open procurement of a new network information system.

The system is a combination of a Powel NIS and an ArcGIS platform from Esri. The ArcGIS portal contains a browser solution for office-based employees, as well as mobile solutions for workers in the field. It will contribute to more efficient and streamlined work processes.

"[The] Asset Performance Suite is a future-proof platform that enables Ellevio’s digital transformation," says Kjell Overger, responsible for grid business support at Ellevio.

"It is a cost-efficient system that handles both our short- and long-term goals. We need to coordinate our NIS systems for grid documentation and create a high level of flexibility for the future. We strive to have a system for network documentation that simultaneously provides good system support for our core processes, to the benefit of both our employees and our partners. This is particularly important in the phase where we are in need of effective processes to ensure that we make the right investment and maintenance decisions. Our conclusion is that the Powel Asset Performance Suite will enable us to cover our needs."

"This contract is further confirmation that Powel is competitive both on price, functionality and innovation within Asset Management," says Kjetil Storset, Executive VP Asset Performance, Powel AS.

“Powel Asset Performance suite is now supporting the asset management processes for electric grid companies distributing electricity to more than 7 million consumers.”

Implementation of the Asset Performance Suite for Ellevio’s electricity grid further strengthens Powel’s position and strategic goal of being the leading Nordic digitalisation partner for grid owners as they automate and digitalise their grids
