Landis+Gyr elected Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Meter Data Management ProductsLandis+Gyr has been designated a Leader in Gartner, Inc.’s Magic Quadrant for Meter Data Management Products for the third straight year. In the report, Gartner evaluated Landis+Gyr’s completeness of vision and ability to execute.

“We have focused on building features into our MDMS that solve unique challenges for utilities and this strategy is paying off,” said Gary High, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Landis+Gyr.

“For example, we recently launched an industry-leading feature to improve time-of-use billing accuracy for interval readings and improve the speed with which real interval data is verified. Moving forward, we will invest in new and innovative capabilities to further automate complex business processes and meet emerging market needs.”

Landis+Gyr’s Meter Data Management System is available as both a user owned and operated software platform, and as a hosted service. It operates as part of a connected network platform that extends intelligent applications to the grid edge and supports an IoT framework. The MDMS delivers event analysis to improve outage detection and theft detection, and can support a variety of payment programs.

Landis+Gyr gained ground over last year for its product vision and support for new utility features. Frost & Sullivan recognised Landis+Gyr as advancing the metering infrastructure (AMI) industry, as well as found Landis+Gyr is able to compete in any region through its international network of offices and partners.
