The Programme

European Utility Week’s conference programme features over 300 expert speakers and is designed to cater for utility industry professionals looking for strategic discussions on business models and the latest market news, as well as case studies and pilots highlighting innovative technologies and solutions.

In close consultation with our Advisory Committee we are now working on new conference formats, truly interactive Hub Sessions, engaging networking opportunities, new launches and interactive technology demonstrations. While the programme is under development, we can share that the content will be divided into two formats:

The Summit

The Summit is a knowledge-sharing platform with a focused business atmosphere designed to facilitate high-level knowledge sharing, networking and new business opportunities.

In a market confronted to the new disruptive cross-industry players, the Summit’s fine-tuned content offering will include:

  • Market Design
  • Innovation and Technology
  • Business Models
  • Customer Centricity

The Summit brings together C-level experts and innovative thinkers within the utilities industry, offering the right platform to brainstorm and strategise about the industry’s challenges ahead.

The Hub Sessions

For utility industry leaders, it is now critical to develop best practices and keep up with the latest technologies at the same time. As the pace of change is speeding up, the need to evolve has never been greater.

Following the success of last year’s Hub Sessions on the exhibition floor, this programme will again offer a dynamic format and engaging Q&A’s, allowing attendees to network in an exclusive topic-led setting. This creates the right environment to help utilities tackle the challenges they face in an ever changing environment.

The Hub Sessions are free to attend for all visitors and will include the following industry segments:

  • Data
  • Grid Optimisation
  • Storage
  • Smart Metering
  • Smart Homes & End User Engagement
  • Smart Water and Smart Gas

New for 2016, we’re developing two specialised tracks on Energy Revolution Europe and Intelligent Buildings Europe.
