Access devices improve energy management

Precidia Technologies, based in Ottawa, Canada and involved in the design and manufacture of IP enabling technologies, has released its line of remote access devices with new features designed to improve energy management operations. The Ether232, Ether422 and Ether485 access devices connect stand-alone serial equipment to LANs or WANs via Ethernet, allowing users to remotely manage each device from any location on the network, in real time.

The new features include an SNMP agent for better network management, a new user downloadable web page for customised information storage, and a remote com port control feature.
