The Premier RP offers the following features:

Full four quadrant metering

• 5 main energy registers and 8 main registers for true import /export metering
• Advanced tamper detection features including: missing voltage, invalid voltage, voltage imbalance, current reversal, current imbalance, current open circuit, current short circuit, and abnormal magnetic influence
• Occurrence and restoration event logging with time and date stamp
• Snapshot taken of electrical values at time of occurrance and restoration including voltages, currents and power factors
• 8 time of use and 2 maximum demand registers
• Load survey configurable for energy and instantaneous parameters
• Load survey integration periods of 15, 30 or 60 minutes
• 1200 baud sealable PACT port
• Optional IEC1107 compatible communications port
• Optional Inductively coupled external power pack for meter reading in the absence of supply
• Up to 4 user configurable outputs via the optional top module
• Up to 2 user configurable inputs via the optional top module
• Type approved to IEC1036 and IEC687 

Accuracy: Premier meters are available in accuracy class 1, 0.5 and 0.2

Flexibility: Premier meters can be programmed with up to 16 tariff rates and up to 8 Maximum Demand registers.

Communications: Premier meters have a PACT port and an '1107 hardware compatible' port, and an additional 25 pin 'D' port under the terminal cover.
Communications are supported with various 3rd party hand held reading devices, as well as remotely over PSTN or GSM modem or packet-switched networks.
