According to the company’s president and CEO, Stuart Lombard, the EMS Si is the most cost effective centralized solution to monitor and control a building's heating and cooling system, at a fraction of the price of a traditional building automation system.

The ecobee EMS Si is Wi-Fi enabled, offering the ability to control an unlimited number of thermostats across diverse geographies from the ecobee web portal. Other features include the creation of multiple unique occupancy schedules, generation of scheduled events, and programming of automatic alerts and reminders via email. In addition, remote diagnostics can be conducted.
